Everything in your house deserves a home! In this two part workshop, we’ll design our own house-shaped tissue box covers, then build and paint them! No experience necessary and all materials provided.

Wednesdays, April 8th & 15th, 6-9 pm. At Francine’s, 1210 W Granville, Chicago
Week one: We’ll design our houses, assemble them out of cardboard, and then cover them with plaster gauze (similar to paper mache, but sturdier) to make them nice and strong. Note: Plaster gauze is messy! We will provide gloves and KN95 masks for the dust. Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
Week two: We’ll decorate the exteriors of our houses with acrylic paint and paint marker! You can take your piece home, or we can spray it with a durable sealant and you can pick it up during open hours.
Suggested donation $70-150. If you wish to donate more, you can send it to @francineschicago on venmo. If $80 is out of reach, either venmo us the amount you're comfortable with, or send us an email at francineschicago@gmail.com and we'll get you signed up for the workshop! :)
Return Policy: Returns are available up to 48 hours before the workshop.
Accessibility: Our studio is 2 steps down below ground level. Please let us know if you would like any assistance getting into the space! Unfortunately, our bathroom is not ADA accessible.
